An Accomplished Entrepreneur of repute, Mr. Utai is a Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM); Member, National Association of Gum Arabic Producers and Exporters of Nigeria (NAGAPEN); Member, Network for Development Foundation; Member, Wheat farmers Association of Nigeria; Member, National Venture Network amongst others. He has worked his entire career in the shipping and logistics aspect of the economy from Marketing to export\Import, cargo processing, documentation, deliveries and logistics.

He is a holder of Bachelor of Arts Degree in Logistics from the University of Maiduguri and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Bayero University Kano; Mr. Utai also holds a Certificate in Marine Logistics and Shipping of the Institute of Shipping of Nigeria. He has attended various courses, trainings and seminars on International Trade, Import and Exports etc.organized by The Nigerian Shippers Council, NACCEMA, ITC\UNCTAD\WTO, USAID\ARD both within the Country and abroad amongst others.

Mr. Utai, started his career as an Administration officer with Zaki Services Company before moving to Inland Containers Limited as an Assistant Manager, Marketing; who was saddled with the responsibility of covering the entire Northern Nigeria. His hard work and dedication to duty saw his rising to the position of a Depot Manager saddled with the responsibility of providing the necessary leadership, business development, strategic directions amongst others.

Having garnered the requisite training and experience, he left the services of Inland Containers limited and ventured in Entrepreneurship. He sits on the Board of Trade Services Nigeria Limited, Seaborne Travels Limited, CIS3 Limited, Aminchi Sacks Nigeria Limited amongst others.
